Akari 14A 10A Lantern Floor Lamp
Akari 14A 10A Lantern Floor Lamp
Sculptural Washi Paper Lantern Floor Lamp
Bring a quiet, sculptural presence to your home with a washi paper lantern floor lamp inspired by traditional Japanese lanterns and modern light sculpture. Its translucent mulberry paper shade stretches across a ribbed frame, creating a softly illuminated form with a distinctive architectural silhouette.
The white paper shade diffuses light gently, softening the appearance of the bulb and adding warmth to a room. Four size options allow you to choose a compact floor lamp for a reading corner or a taller paper lantern for a spacious living room.
This plug-in Japanese-style floor lamp uses a replaceable E26 or E27 bulb and an inline push-button switch. Its organic outline works naturally with Japandi, Scandinavian, minimalist and Wabi-Sabi interiors.

02 / SPECIFICATIONS Product Details
The lamp uses a standard E26 or E27 bulb, depending on the regional version. Compatible LED and Edison-style bulbs can be used. A warm-white 2200K–2700K bulb is recommended for a soft, diffused glow.
03 / DESIGN Washi Paper & Form
Traditional Paper Diffusion
Washi paper made from mulberry fibers creates a translucent surface that softens the light and reduces the visual harshness of a bare bulb.
Ribbed Lantern Structure
The ribbed framework gives the shade its recognizable lantern silhouette. Its interplay of curved lines and translucent paper creates an expressive sculptural presence.
This lamp is inspired by the Japanese paper-lighting tradition and the Akari Light Sculptures of Isamu Noguchi. It is not an official Noguchi Museum or Ozeki & Co. product.
04 / ILLUMINATION Light Quality & Bulbs
Soft Diffused Glow
The translucent paper shade spreads light gently, creating a comfortable ambient effect throughout the surrounding space.
Warm White Bulbs
A 2200K–2700K bulb helps create a warm atmosphere for reading corners, relaxing evenings and quiet interiors.
Replaceable Light Source
The E26/E27 socket supports compatible LED or Edison bulbs, so you can select a preferred brightness.
Actual brightness and energy consumption depend on the bulb selected. If dimming is required, use a compatible dimmable bulb and suitable dimming equipment.
05 / SETUP & CARE Installation & Maintenance
Plug-In Setup
Position the floor lamp on a stable, level surface. Connect the 150 cm power cord to a compatible outlet and operate the inline push-button switch.
No hardwiring is required. Keep the cord clear of walkways and areas where it could be pulled or tripped over.
Care for Paper Shades
Turn off and unplug the lamp before cleaning. Remove dust gently with a soft, dry brush or cloth, taking care not to tear or deform the delicate paper.
Keep the shade away from water, humidity, oils and harsh cleaning products. Do not scrub or wet the paper surface.
The IP20 rating is intended for dry indoor locations. The paper shade is not waterproof and must be protected from moisture. Do not use the lamp in bathrooms or outdoors.
06 / ROOM STYLING Where to Use
Living Room
Position beside a sofa or lounge chair to create a gentle pool of ambient light and a sculptural visual accent.
Bedroom
Use a paper lantern floor lamp to complement natural fabrics, light wood furniture and warm neutral colors.
